Screenplay and Story boarding: What makes a good story?

A good story should must have a strong concept, interesting twists and should follow the 3 Act Structure.

Start with the character.

Then character must have motive and conflict.

Character must link with another characters and things.

Student Life in Foreign Country

It’s not easy to survive being as a student in foreign country. I’m very far far away from my hometown now. I miss my family, I miss my country, I miss my dog and I miss my hometown food. I’ve been Singapore for one year for my study. And I still have to go two more years. For me, being as a foreigner student, is very difficult. I got to handle all the things by myself. I’ve to handle my accommodation, manage for my daily meals and so on.

The school I go for is Art School, which is called NAFA. I think this is the place that I put the most effort in studying. I chose this school by myself. My parent wants me to go to engineering or business. I thought being as art student is quiet easy until I get to NAFA. I’ve got the shock once I step into the Changi Airport. Everything is different from my daily environment. Everything is new to me. I faced the language problem even I’ve learnt English and people at Singapore speaks English. At the first day of my school, I was shocked again. Even I’m interested in Art, I’ve never taken any course, which is related to the Art. Moreover, teaching methods are totally different from my country. The first thing popped out from my mind is making friend. How should I make friends in this country? I call to my mom one time every week. Then I tell everything which are happened within one week. I cannot express how much I miss my home, my family and the food.

Mom, how much I have to survive to live on this earth?

Bad Partner

This coming November is our 2^nd years anniversary. We were happy in the very first of our relationship. At first, you were very nice, cheerful and kindhearted person. You got my attention just because of those things. Why did you change? Do you remember first time we met each other? We were taking the same train. Then, the old woman came into the train and she was looking for the seat. Everyone tried to ignore her because they don’t want to give her a seat. But you are the only one who offered her a seat. This is how to get my attention. Fortunately, we met each other at my work again. You are my senior of my department. This is how our relationship started. Do you still remember?

Then you asked me for the date and we went to the restaurant, which is at Clark Quay.

A few weeks after dating, we are in relationship. That was the very happy moment of my life. Luckily we are working at the same company. We always go for the dinner after work, we used to date most Friday night and we usually go to the temple on weekends. After we are in relationships for a few months, you asked me to move out to your place. I was wonder by the time you asked me to move. I hesitated at first but finally I planned to move to your place.

I slowly realized you after I moved to your place. All of your good things disappeared and you changed into devil slowly. We spent most of our time arguing and fighting each other. Our adorable relationship becomes disappear.

Almost everyday, you slap me, punch me and even rape me. This is not you. This is not my boyfriend who is very kind to me. Now, I’m disappointed you as the days go by.

Finally, I want to move out and try to get over you. Why do you do like that to me? We don’t even get married yet. Now, I’m trying to get out of this hell. Can I call you as BAD PARTNER?

The Modern Pipe Piper

Annie is the most popular, pretty, sexy and elegant girl in the college. Many boys are going for her and they couldn’t get her as a result. One day she went to other town where her grandmother is staying. During her stay, she knew with the boy who is living next to her grandmother’s house. During the semester break, she went to see her grandmother again. At this time, Annie and the boy who is staying next to her grandmother’s house got closer and finally they fell in love. She went back to her town when the new semester starts and they lost in contact each other for a couple of months even she tried to contact him.

During that time, the boy cheated on Annie. He is in the relationship with other girl who is from his town. And he really fell in love with that girl. But Annie didn’t know all these matters. She told her friends that she fell in love with the cowboy and he is really nice to her and so on. By the time semester break started; she went to her grandmother’s town. Once she got to her grandmother’s house, she sneaked into her boyfriend’s house to make him surprise. But suddenly she saw her boyfriend and the girl together and she got shock. Then she run back to her grandmother’s place and went back to her hometown. But she aimed to revenge again.

After another semester break, she went to her grandmother’s place again and tried to get close with her ex’s girlfriend. She made herself as a lesbian and tried to approach her in many ways, which her ex boyfriend tried to get her. Finally she got her and she treated her like the way Annie’s ex boyfriend treated to Annie. Then Annie’s ex boyfriend’s girlfriend really fell on her. At the same time, Annie’s ex boyfriend realize that Annie is revenging them and tried to apologize her. But she didn’t accept. Before Annie went back to her hometown, she broke up with her ex boyfriend’s girlfriend. Then, both Annie’s ex boyfriend and Annie’s girlfriend are left with broken hearts.

The Man With power

His age is around 25. He is just from the poor family.So, he went to the college instead of going university.After he graduated as Civil Engineer from 3rd capital city of my country, he moved to the Capital city of my country.He worked at my father company and he is also one of my father's relative.But not very close enough.As he just graduate from the Engineering College, he worked as a Junior Engineer at my father company.Not only he got diploma but also he is from the countryside, many of the seniors bully him. Actually, he is nice and clever guy among them. But he try to keep silent and do what he has to do even they all bully him.He never tell my dad or complain about them.After he worked my father's company for 3 or 4 years, he requested my father to quit from this company.He told my father that he thinks he has enough experience to go for his further study. He saved the money to go for further study during working at my father's company.Before he quitted, he told my father about the seniors who bully him even they are not smart enough to be seniors.

Then, he tried to get the NTU's (National Technology University) which is located in Singapore entrance.Finally he got it and he went to singapore to get the Civil Engineering Degree.After he spent 4 yrs studying in NTU, he got Degree and he worked for 2 years in Singapore. Then he finished the Master after a couple of years ago.Now, he came back to my country and founded the construction company. And his company is doing well and become branded now.

So, I think he got the motivation from discriminating him as the cowboy and treating him as a nut.

In this novel, Jamal Malik who is a former street child from the Juhu slum.He was orphan since his mother died in Hindu-Muslim riots.He has one brother called Salim.After their mother dead, they became street child.One day they meet the child named called Latika who is another child from their slum.One day a group of people came to their slum and take them their place.Actually these people are the gang who are letting children to do begging on the street of Mumbai.They make the children blind in order to make them more profitable as singing beggars.Jamal, Salim and Latika found out and they tried to escape from the gang.But in the end, only Jamal and Salim escaped.Over next few years they make living selling goods, picking pockets, stealing.After few years back they came back to Mumbai to find Latika.Finally they found her and saved her from the gang.After that his brother Salim forced him to leave Salim and Latika alone.So, he left and working at a teashop.In the mean while he tried to get contact with his brother and Latika.Years later, he found Salim, who is now gangster.Then he found Latika and he tried to get her back.Unfortunately he couldn't get. During that time he tried to answer the questions in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.After he answered almost all the questions, the police thinks he cheated.

Actually, Jamal answered all the questions by his life experience and he knows all the answer by thinking with problems that he has faced.And Jamal loves Latika since he was young.He always thinks to find Latika since they were apart.But first time he found her, he was forced to leave his brother and Latika alone.And second time he found her, she is belong to his brother gang leader.So, he is trying to save her from that guy and answer the questions in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

But the police thinks a guy from slum area can't answer those kind of questions which are questioned in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. So, he catches Jamal one day before answering the last question and ask Jamal how did he get all the answers.And he doesn't believe even Jamal tells the truth.Not only the police but also Jamal's brother and Latika don't believe how he gets the answer.But finally Jamal's brother lets Latika go and Latika answers the last question.
